Fast Moving Storms Bring Down More Trees

HOUSTON COUNTY: This afternoon a line of fast moving storms hit Houston County, With it came high winds and heavy rains. Lately almost every afternoon storms have been rolling in with the high winds and heavy rains. This is causing a lot trees to come down and block roadways. Already reports of trees down are coming in from Webb to Madrid and every where in between. Most are being cleared by law enforcment and volunteer fire departments. As of right now the largest is in the 500 block of East Wayne Road betwwn Hodgesville and East Saunders Road. Reports of both treesand power lines are down in this area. Crews are attempting to quickly get the trees removed and the lines back up with being power restored.
