Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Okaloosa County

Okaloosa County, Florida: Earlier this afternoon, Okaloosa County Emergency Units, to include the the Florida Highway Patrol, were dispatched to a motorcycle crash on State Road 30 at Serville Court. The Florida Highway Patrol's crash report shows that a 2010 GMC truck was stopped facing South on Serville Court at the intersection of State Road 30.

A Honda motorcycle was traveling West on State Road 30 within the left lane. The crash report shows that the GMC pulled out into the intersection into the path of the Honda motorcycle.The Honda was unable to take evasive action prior to striking the GMC. The driver of the motorcycle Shaaron Jackson Lively, 59, of Navarre, Florida was killed in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Charges are pending in the case of the crash.
