Fatal Okaloosa County Crash

Okaloosa County, Florida: On Saturday, at around 5:20 p.m. Okaloosa County Emergency Units and the Florida Highway Patrol were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on State Road 4. The traffic crash report shows that a 1997 Chevrolet truck was driving East on State Road 4 when for unknown reasons, the truck went off the road and onto the grass shoulder. After the vehicle left the roadway it went into a concrete ditch and strucka culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn onto it' roof. The driver of the vehicle, Joseph Wallman, 58, of Holt, Florida, was pronounced deceased due to injuries he sustained in the crash. The crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
