A 2007 Harley Soft-Tail was traveling East on County Road 3280. The driver of the motorcycle failed to negotiate the curve causing the motorcycle to veer right onto the County Road 3280 eastbound lane unpaved shoulder. The motorcycle then traveled East on the unpaved shoulder for approximately 100 feet before striking a culvert. After contact with the culvert, the motorcycle overturned and rotated several times causing the driver of the motorcycle to be thrown from his seat. The motorcycle came to final rest on the County Road 3280 eastbound shoulder lane. The motorcycle was positioned on it’s left side facing North. The driver of the motorcycle came to a final rest in a drainage ditch containing water. The drainage ditch was located just South of the County Road 3280 eastbound lane.
The driver of the motorcycle, Michael M. Miller, expired due to the injuries he received in this crash on September 18, 2012 at 4:56 P.M. while at the Pensacola Sacred Heart Hospital.
