Federal Judge Sets Court Date for Country Crossing

U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson has set a court date on Feb. 26 to hear arguments relating to Country Crossing’s motion for a preliminary injunction that would keep the Governor’s Task Force on Illegal Gambling from raiding the development.

The preliminary injunction is similar to the restraining order that Country Crossing’s attorneys filed on Monday, in that it will deny the Task Force from raiding the facility.

Tyson has also filed a motion to dismiss the injunction.
