Investigators with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office / Abbeville Police Task Force arrested two people on criminal mischief charges. 21-year-old Terrance Dewayne Gary of Eufaula and a 16-year-old juvenile were arrested yesterday and charged with felony counts of criminal mischief 2nd degree. Gary and the juvenile were inside a local Abbeville laundromat, the Wash and Tumble Laundry, when they attempted to gain access to a moneychanger and damaged the video surveillance cameras inside the business. Investigators used surveillance video from the business to identify the suspects. Gary is being held in the Henry County Jail under a $2500.00 bond and the juvenile is currently being held in the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center. Approximately $800.00 in damage was done at the business.
