FIDDLE CHAMPION TO PLAY AT LANDMARK PARK’S SPRING FARM DAY

DOTHAN: Spring Farm Day is March 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sharon Bounds, an Alabama and Mississippi fiddle champion, will be playing on the Opry Stage and judging at the Fiddle Convention on Saturday, March 21 for Spring Farm Day at Landmark Park. Sharon has often been ranked in the top ten fiddle players nationally.  Other live music will take place throughout the day as well. The Gazebo stage will feature bluegrass music, including performances by Pure and Simple, Midway Connection and Prescott’s Still. The Opry stage will also host live music by the Catfish Cutups, and the Dothan Fiddlers. A crowd favorite will be the annual Old-Time Fiddlers’ Convention in the Stokes Activity Barn. The Landmark Dulcimer Club will perform folk tunes in the Waddell House.
