Fire Alarm Is Food On The Stove

DOTHAN:  Dothan 911 dispatched fire units to a fire alarm at 1185 Chickasaw Street. Dothan Fire Engine 1 ( Central ) and Engine 3 ( Westgate ) responded to the scene.

The first primary fire engine on the scene, Engine 1, reported there was no fire only food on the stove which caused the fire alarm to be set off.

The fireman were not invited to stay and eat - but then again the food might have been burnt!!!

All was clear and the fireman returned to duty and stand by awaiting the next emergency alarm to sound.
