DOTHAN: Dothan Fire and Dothan Police responded to a report of a fire alarm at the St Andrews Market located at 193 South St Andrews. First unit on the scene nothing visible from the exterior, when firefighters went inside they found more than they bargained for. The building had part of the roof collapse and it broke one of the main sprinkler lines that feed the system.
If you remember this same building had part of its roof collapse back a few years ago due to a storm. That was before the market moved into the building, it’s not clear how much damage or where the exact damage is to the building. Police have closed the 200 block of East Crawford as a precaution. The power and water companies are now on the scene securing both. A building inspector has been called to the scene to decide of the building is safe or not.
