Fire breaks Out at the Clock Tower East of Slocomb

GENEVA COUNTY: At 8:38 am multiple fire units from Slocomb, Malvern and Fadette responded to a report of a fire at the clock tower.
Most everyone in the Slocomb Community knows what and where the clock tower is located on County Road 28, one mile East of Slocomb. Reports are the fire was on the second floor laundry room and extended over into the hallway.
Firefighters were able to locate- attack and knock down the fire in minutes keeping the fire from spreading further and causing more damage.
Slocomb Rescue and Police also responded to the fire.
