Fire Destroys Home in Lucy

HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple Fire units from Lucy, Gordon, Ashford and Pansey responded to a report of a structure fire at 38 Grubbs Drive in Lucy. The first unit on scene advised Heavy fire visible. Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance from Ashford. The single wide mobile home was totaly destroyed by the fire. The occupints were able to escape the fire, one person was transpor ted to the hospital with chest pains. Red-Cross was called to help the family. A call was placed to the State Fire Marshal’s Office to help with the investigation into the cause of the fire.
