Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all Southeast Alabama until Thursday Night. Below is information from the nation weather service.

A cold front will approach slowly from the west today, bringing increasing chances for rain. Rain will be heavy at times. The rain will end from west to east during the day on Thursday as the front moves through the region.

MAIN THREAT: flash flooding. Expect most areas to get 2 to 3 inches of rain, but a few locations could get up to 8 inches.

SECONDARY THREAT(s): A few severe thunderstorms are possible, with damaging wind gusts and/or hail.

TIMING: Heaviest rain expected late this afternoon through Thursday morning. Low-end severe storm threat could be anytime today through Thursday.
