Florida Highway Patrol Fatal wreck in Sneads

A Sneads woman was killed and three others injured in a wreck at 7:45 a.m. today, Florida Highway Patrol officials wrote in a news release.


Victoria Jean Sherrod, 26, was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima with a 6-year-old passenger, Laila Sherrod east on Highway 90 near Walden Road when she crosses the broken yellow center line, the news release states.


The Altima then collided head-on with a 1999 Kia Sorrento being driven west on Highway 90 by 52-year-old Felecia Simpson, troopers wrote.
