                        On 29, December 2012 at approximately 2130 hours, officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to a 911 call from a motorist who was under attack from her estranged husband Michael Alan O’Bryan.  O’Bryan chased his wife from Blountstown, Florida in his vehicle until reaching Marianna, Florida.  O’Bryan followed his wife everywhere she drove including stopping her vehicle to refuel.  There O’Bryan made threating jesters and displayed antagonizing behavior.  O’Bryan also made several attempts to crash into his wife’s vehicle during the chase causing her to be in fear of her life.  O’Bryan was able to force his wife’s vehicle off the roadway on Penn Avenue just north of the I-10.  There O’Bryan attacked his wife’s vehicle beating on the windows and demanding she allow him access inside the vehicle.  Once hearing sirens approaching, O’Bryan returned to his vehicle and left the area.  As officers arrived O’Bryan quickly turned his vehicle around and returned, pulling his vehicle directly in front of his wife.  After investigation, officers arrested O’Bryan charging him with stalking.  O’Bryan was transported to the Jackson County Jail Facility where he will be held awaiting first appearance.
