DOTHAN: Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire, Vaughn Towers, on South Saint Andrews Street in Dothan. Smoke was reported to be coming from an apartment.
Multiple Dothan Fire Engines rolled to the scene.
The first fire crew reported, no fire, only food left on the stove. Dothan Fire set up ventilation in order to clear the apartment from smoke.
Multiple Dothan Fire and Pilcher's Ambulance responded, along with Dothan police. This was a multi story building with multiple residents. Some of the residents are handicapped. That requires a response on behalf of Dothan Fire for WORST case situation until it is found out the fire is not an actual structure fire.
