Foot Pursuit Ends with Suspect in Custody

This afternoon a Dothan Police Officer on patrol spotted a male subject that was known to have a  felony warrant with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office. The officer came back around and went to make contact with the subject, but instead the subject spotted the officer and tried to duck around the corner. When the office got out he had his partner with him. The young male thought for a second and took off. The officer ordered him to stop and get down numerous times, then the officer’s partner “ZIPO” caught the male and the officer took him into custody. Fire medics responded to check the male but his injuries were minor.
