I had no idea how many lives The Angel Of Hope Statue was going to touch when I began this project. In the short time since then I have received numerous phone calls and messages from grieving parents who have lost a child and in some cases lost more than one child. Everyone was so happy that something was being done to help give them comfort by knowing their child will not be forgotten.  


I recieved a phone call from a father who lost his son and he told me like so many others have said.." My greatest fear was my son would be forgotten." This morning, with his permission to tell others, I got a message from Jamaine Harvey telling me how The Angel Of Hope Statue coming soon to Westgate Park touched him deeply. In 2013 his family had a house fire and lost 2 children..Ariel 16 months old and Byron 5 years old. Somehow I feel like I’m now a part of their family and a part of every family I have met who shared their childs life story with me. I am so grateful to all of these families who have lost a child for letting me know how much The Angel Of Hope Statue will mean to them.
