The Downtown group has 20 FREE booth spaces for non-profits in the Wiregrass who want to participate in the 2015 Downtown Christmas festival December 5th. Any group requesting space MUST provide a free activity, craft or item FREE for kids. So, coloring pages/ coloring contests, crafts, games, face painting, etc are all great- come up with something fun and get a free booth space! These spaces will be on the 300 block of N. Foster, between the WTVY building and the Carver museum. No food can be sold, but you may sell items to raise money as long as you are providing something for free as well. The spaces can either be 10x10 or 10x 20 and no electricity is available for the free spaces.

Call 334-699-1475 to get a form emailed to you and tell us what you plan on doing. Available to the first 20 who get their form in. The Downtown Christmas Festival has been going on for 12 years and is sometimes referred to as the "snow festival" because The Downtown Group brings in a company and they make it snow for the kids. This year’s snow zone is sponsored by Schmitz Auto Group, and will feature two play areas- one for kids 6 and under and one for bigger kids. There is also free sledding courtesy of Metro PCS. The free sledding will be on the hill in front of the police department.

There’s also a stage with live entertainment, free crafts in the greenspace, free visits with Santa in Porter Park, and free marshmallow roasting in the park next to WTVY. The free train rides will depart from N. Foster and Adams street and go up past the Carver museum and back around to the starting point. The event is from 9-3 and free to the public.
