Come out to Cowarts on Saturday August 9th and enjoy the music of a couple of bands and the fellowship of your neighbors and friends at the Cowarts Community Picnic from 5-8pm. The picnic is on the lawn behind the municipal building at 800 Jester Road in Cowarts. Bring a blanket or chairs! You can also bring your supper or buy it from a vendor on site. No alcohol please. The first groups to perform will be vocal gospel groups, then the contemporary band American Volition will take the stage just after 6pm to perform Christian and praise music. No admission charge- just come on out and enjoy some great music under the evening stars!
