ABBEVILLE:   Movies, popcorn and friends.

For the next four weeks in Abbeville, that is what you have. The City of Abbeville in conjunction with Abbeville United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Abbeville are sponsoring Movies At The Park.

Last night I went by the movies, The Blindside. Because of the weather they held it in the beautiful community center. A good crowd of adults and children to watch the movie on large screen and sound. You can bring your own snacks or buy snacks there.

For the next four weeks, each Friday night at 7:30 PM, a time to gather for free movies.

7/23  7:30 PM   The Blindside

7/30  7:30 PM   UP

8/6    7:30 PM   Fantastic Mr. Fox

8/13  7:30 PM  Ratatouille

The movies are on the ballfield unless bad weather. On 7/30 before the movies will be remote control airplanes flying for the kids to watch.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, sit back and enjoy the movie on a BIG screen.
