Fugitive Apprehended In Bay County Florida by A - Advantage Bonding

BAY COUNTY FL:    For several weeks Bail Enforcement Agents of A - Advantage Bonding have been working intelligence information and sources attempting to locate Tyler Gregory Davis.

Today Ricky Beck, as he was traveling back from Colorado, received information of where Davis was located.

This afternoon John Curtis Stokes, Brandon Brock, Matt Boster and myself ( Rickey Stokes ) took the journey to Bay County Florida in an effort to locate Mr. Davis.

As we got into Bay County we made contact with Bay County Sheriff Department. The purpose of the call was to notify them that we were about to hit a trailer house in the northern end of Bay County. 

We followed the directions into a junk pile house. We checked around the house and it was obvious that no one was home. Several old vehicles were there but no one was there. We then went down the road and talked to some neighbors. They sent us to another location confirming Davis lived there.

As we approached the trailer from the front and rear, both the front and back doors were standing open. As I approached the back door a bull dog could be seen just inside the door. A man came up the hallway as I was standing on the back steps. I asked was he Davis and he said no. I asked was he there and he said he was in the den.

At that time I entered the residence and saw Davis in the recliner. About the same time Brock entered the front door. Davis was asleep and had not heard us. I motioned for Brock to hand me the handcuffs.

I was quiet and swiftly placed the handcuffs on Davis. As I got them on Brock shook his feet. GUESS WHAT MR. DAVIS...already got you handcuffed and Greetings from Houston County Alabama.

Davis was taken into custody without incident. He was transported back to the office of A - Advantage Bonding. I had him complete some paperwork to file with the court on Monday in order to speed things up for him. He was then placed in the Houston County Jail.

Davis has outstanding felony arrest warrants in Bay County Florida and possibly in Washington County Florida. He has been running between Washington and Holmes County.

He told us that he has never been woke up before on handcuffs. SURPRISE, you never know when and how A - Advantage Bonding will appear.

Again, I am proud of my team. We work leads to locate and apprehend those who fail to appear in court. And when we do, it is our sole purpose to return them to the custody of the Sheriff or Chief of Police, safely.

It is also our policy at A - Advantage Bonding to help people. We located one this week in St. Petersburg Florida. We sent him some paperwork to get his issues resolved. Not practicing law at all, just sending court documents in order to help get issue resolved.

As a bondsman, it is our duty to attempt to keep contact with the persons who are on bond, remind them of their court dates, and guide them to where they need to be. If they fail to show up, it is our job to locate them.

But like Mr. Davis, even though we had to travel and apprehend him, we helped him in order to not sit idle in jail for weeks. We had him complete court documents and will file them on Monday in order to get the ball rolling for him.

So as a bondsman, we try to help people.
