Gaines Named as Division Director of Ancillary Services

Dothan: Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to announce Jennifer Gaines has been named division director of Ancillary Services. She will assume her new duties October 1.

Ancillary Services reporting to Jennifer are: Radiology, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Cancer Center, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Wound Care, Neurodiagnostic Sleep Center, Advance Home Medical, Reference Lab, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

“I am excited to begin my new role within the organization,” Jennifer said. “I look forward to working closely with this excellent team of directors as we continue to provide quality healthcare to our patients and community.”

Jennifer has served as director of SAMC’s Southeast Wound Care since 2009. In addition to serving as director of wound care, she was named the director of Reference Lab in 2012. She also took on the role of director of Network Development in 2015.

Jennifer earned her Associate Degree of Applied Science from Enterprise Junior College in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Troy University in Dothan in 2005. She is currently working on her Masters of Business Administration through the University of North Alabama.

A 2016 graduate of Leadership Dothan, Jennifer has served on several civic boards and she is a past member of the Dothan Rotary Club and Dothan Kiwanis Club.
