Gas Leak Behind Dicks Sporting Goods

Dothan Fire and Dothan Police are on the scene of a gas leak behind Dicks Sporting Goods. Engine 6 advised it appears a vehicle hit the gas meter and caused the leak. The vehicle left the scene after striking the meter.

Southeast Alabama Gas is on the scene and are repairing the leak. There have been no evacuations at this time due to the stores not being open yet. Engine 6, Hazmat 2 and Battalion 1 are on scene along with the Dothan Police Department and Pilcher's Ambulance.
