Geneva County Sheriff’s Office Discovers Meth Lab

On July 7, 2012, Drug Task Force Agents Annie Ward and Eugene Campbell initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Stephens Ferry Road. While interacting with the occupants of the vehicle, the agents noticed something suspicious. The agents dicsovered a Meth Lab. This Meth Lab was not a Shake and Bake Meth Lab like the current ones that are used. Agents found an old-fashioned Meth Lab known as a Red (P) Meth Lab. The (P) stands for Phosphorous. Thompson, a convicted felon was found with a pistol in his possession. William Wayne Thompson was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor) , Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony), Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Felony), Manufacture/Sale/Transfer of Precursor Chemicals (Felony), Receiving Stolen Property 3rd Degree ($500 or less) (Misdemeanor), and Possession of a pistol by a Violent Felon (Felony). Lela Adrianne Davis was charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor), Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree (Felony), and Manufacture/Sale/Transfer of Precursor Chemicals (Felony). Thompson and Davis were arrested and booked into the Geneva County Jail.
