Geneva Police Makes Felony Arrest

On 06-21-2012 the Geneva Police Department arrested a white female, AMANDA CAROL FRANKLIN 29 years of age of the 300 block of Choctaw St. Geneva, Al. 36340 and charged her with BURGLARY 3RD. and THEFT OF PROPERTY 1ST.    

On 06-14-2012 Officers with the Geneva Police Department responded to Fleming St. in Geneva after a home owner came home from doctors visits and noticed her front door ajar. The homeowner notified Geneva Police after noticing 2 long guns and a pistol missing. On Monday 6-18-2012 while executing two arrest warrants officers recovered the pistol reported stolen on 6-14-2012. Subsequent to that officers developed Amanda Franklin as a suspect and arrested her on 6-21 2012. More charges may be fourthcoming. Amanda Franklin was taken to the Geneva County Jail to await 1st. apperance.
