Georgiana Man Dies in ATV Crash

Butler County -- A single-vehicle ATV crash on Saturday claimed the life of a Flowery Branch, Ga., man. The crash occurred at 6:36 p.m. on McCarter Dirt Road, five miles east of Georgiana. Richard L. Whitworth, 41, was killed when his ATV left the roadway and hit several trees and a culvert. No additional information is available at this time as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
