Go Vote TODAY - Houston County Commission District Four

HOUSTON COUNTY:   Today is the General Election day for Houston County Commissioner District 4. There is one name on the ballot and the name on the ballot is Melinda McClendon.

Someone has a determined effort for a write in campaign in order to slip in and defeat Melinda. If people do not go vote this could happen. So let me encourage the people of District 4 Houston County Commission to go vote. The polls are open until 7 PM.

The polling places are at the Houston - Love Memorial Library, Westgate Park, Vaughn - Blumberg Center, Bay Springs Voluunteer Fire and Wicksburg Volunteer Fire.

We have had several calls about the determined effort for the write in campaign. The following is a facebook post from a Dothan resident:

Dothan friends who live in Houston County District 4 - word is spreading that there is a write in candidate with an organized effort to try and cause a surprise upset in today's election. Melinda Sconyers McClendon is the only name on the ballot and is the right person to represent us. Please rally your friends, share this post, sent text messages, send emails, make phone calls, but most of all go vote TODAY to insure McClendon is our voice. This is very real and will be a reflection of who's supporters show up at the polls today! VOTE!

So go vote TODAY if you live in Houston County Commission District 4.
