God Placed Us In The Right Place At The Right Time

PANAMA CITY BEACH FL:     Saw the most horrific accident yesterday afternoon.  My son Sean and my grand-son Connor, and I were returning from Panama City Beach after filling some sand bags for their house in a low laying area of the Cove, when this blue truck passed us east bound on the Hathaway Bridge.  We were in the right hand lane as the driver of this truck passed us in the left hand lane.  As we reached the bottom of the bridge, the driver of this blue truck lost control and spun out in front of oncoming traffic.  The accident was unavoidable and the driver was hit by another truck headed west bound.  You can see from the damage it was a high speed impact.  This all unfolded right before our eyes.  We immediately pulled over to see if we could do anything.  My son Sean is a registered nurse and went to give aid to the man that hit the blue truck.  I could see the driver of the blue truck was unconscious. I ran to Sean and said "they need you over there!"  Sean run over to the blue truck and found the driver unresponsive.  As it turns out the driver was a young girl, maybe 19 or 20.  My son’s medical training took over immediately.  Seeing that she was turning blue and had a very weak pulse, he and another guy pulled her out of the truck, attempted to clear her airway and immediately begin chest compression’s.  Her airway was blocked due to her internal injuries.  A Florida Highway Patrol Officer was on scene within a couple of minutes and brought a suction kit.  Not sure if they were able to get her airway cleared, but Sean kept her heart beating until the EMS techs arrived in about what seemed like 20 minutes later.  This young girl is fighting for her life at Bay Medical Scared Heart Hospital in Panama City, Florida. PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS POOR GIRL.  So very proud of my son Sean!!  If this girl survives this tragic accident, it will be because GOD placed us there at that moment, so Sean could be there to help save her life.  If the girl survives the day, Sean will go into work tonight and care for her because she will be in his unit, Surgical ICU, at Bay Med.  How’s that for Providence! I am crying as I write this because I know we serve a GREAT GOD that is able to do immeasurably and all things, for the life of this young girl, and because I am so proud of my son Sean.  Sean you are my hero and I love you so much!!! "TO GOD BE THE GLORY GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE! SO LOVED HE THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE US HIS SON. WHO YIELD NOT TO TEMPTATION OF SIN, BUT OPENED THE LIFE GATES THAT ALL MAY GO IN!  PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE THE LORD LET THE EARTH HEAR HIS VOICE, PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE THE LORD, LET THE PEOPLE REJOICE. OH COME TO THE FATHER THROUGH JESUS HIS SON AND GAVE HIM THE GLORY, GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!"
