Goldfingers GOLD Scholarship to be awarded to local students

Local restaurant Goldfingers continues its commitment to community through the GOLD Scholarship which will be awarded to two deserving high school students this Friday. The Goldfingers GOLD Scholarship began in 2015 under the vision of Bill Dorminy, Founder and Owner of Goldfingers restaurants in Dothan, AL. The essay scholarship consists of only one question, “What does it mean to be a GOLD leader?”The Gold standard for Goldfingers has always been G- Going the extra mile, O- Others First, L- Leadership & D- Determination in the face of adversity.
David Croninfrom Dothan High School andClaudia Affanfrom Northview High School are this year’s recipients for the Goldfingers GOLD Scholarship.
Administered by the Dothan Education Foundation, the Goldfingers GOLD scholarships are awarded to one Senior from Dothan High School and one Senior from Northview High School in the amount of $500. A check presentation will be made Friday, July 29th at 11:30 at the Dothan Education Foundation office located at 2431 West Main St. Suite 301.
