MOBILE: Alabama Governor ROBERT Bentley was in Dothan and later in Mobile this past Friday. Governor Zbentley was flying around the state in the $ 55,000.00 a month jet. Oh, the $ 660,000.00 a year plane paid for by the people of Alabama.
That's not the point of the article but fun to add.
The point is Governor Bentley cut the media off when they attempted to ask him but current issues. The issue was the recently released conversation between the Governor and Alabama State Representative Farley.
The Governor told the reporter he was there to talk about the lottery and the upcoming legislative funding. At one time reports are the Governor held his hand up and said "don't".
I was not in Dothan Friday. I left town Tuesday in a work/vacation trip. My circuit breakers had tripped ( attitude and mostly patience with some governmental so called leaders ) and dealing with issues for others. Time for a break.
So I was not present when Bentley was in Dothan. But I would have loved to be in Mobile.
Here is why, Governor Bentley this tape recording is a current issue. So the question is fair game. And I am aware you do not wish to discuss it. But this is a self created issue, get over it. You might be the Governor. But you do not tell me, much less hold your hand up to tell me "don't" in asking a question. You have a duty and had Rickey Stokes been there I would have dogged your butt.
Months ago you did the same thing to the Mobile media. You came to Geneva. I went for one reason. And that was should you have treated our media the same way. That will not work if I am there.
Not being cocky, just factual.
Bentley you created the issues. You are the Governor not the dictator. So shut up and answer the questions. But I dare you to get that attitude when I am there.
