ALABAMA:     A hometown Judge, Elizabeth Hamner, has ordered the divorce records of Alabama Governor Robert Bentley be sealed. Judge Hamner does not want the public to know what the divorce papers contain.


On Friday Governor Bentley issued a statement to please respect the privacy of the Bentley’s during this divorce.


HELLO – you are the Governor of the State of Alabama. One who has been married for 50 years. You lie to the citizens of the State of Alabama to get elected and then re-elected. Apparently with the filing of the divorce you have lied to your wife of 50 years.


HELLO – the statement is you and your wife have been separated since January.


HELLO – the Montgomery circle rumor for months is, you are having an affair with a married staff person.


HELLO – the person who came as your Chief of Staff, Judge Malone, whom you appointed as Supreme Court Judge and the people of Alabama did not elect him, who is now once again a Circuit Judge in Tuscaloosa – and by chance your divorce papers are sealed.


HELLO – rumor is you and the staffer went to New Orleans for this past New Years.


HELLO – you and the staff person were the only ones to know of the Legislative Special Session. Your new Chief of Staff, Seth Hammitt is reported to have not known of the Legislative Special Session. No wonder the special session was a waste.


HELLO – Judge, HELLO Governor – the people of the State of Alabama deserve to know if all of these rumors are true or false.  Your divorce should be public information.


When your apparent actions were performed in the midst of Alabama Governor “Official” duties. The person of interest that is rumored is paid by the State of Alabama.


You are now being an embarrassment to the Office of Governor.
