Grand Ridge Man Charged with Violation of Probation and Drug Charges

On May 3rd, 2014 at approximately 2:00pm officers with the Marianna Police Department received a call for response to the area of Family Dollar (West) in reference to a suspicious person. Upon officer’s arrival at the store, officers came in contact with and identified Dustin Calevro as the subject that was reported suspicious. During officers contact with Calevro consent to search the vehicle he was operating was granted by him.
A search of the vehicle was conducted by officers. During the search officers located a container which contained a blue powdery substance. The substance was found to be Oxycodone. Also located in the vehicle was a syringe which was used to inject the narcotic.
Calevro was arrested and charged with the above mentioned charges. Calevro was on state probation at the time he was arrested. Calevro was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
