Coffee Springs grass fire on Alto Reece that is endangering several structures including an old chicken house. Coffee County fire just now arrving on scene.  Marty will update shortly.

 

Updated by Marty: 34 Central Dispatchers dispatched Coffee Springs Volunteer Fire Department to reports of a grass fire near the intersection of Geneva County Road 21 and Alto Reece Road. It was found, after the arrival of Coffee Springs Fire, that this fire was a control burn that got out of hand. Coffee Springs Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and is now back in service. Pictures will be posted shortly.
