HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning on Judge Louge Road and Highway 123 in the Wicksburg community there was a very bad traffic accident.
The two vehicle accident involved trauma alert and required patient extrication.
A few things I wish to point out.
Enterprise Fireman Taylor Robinson, off duty from Enterprise volunteers with Wicksburg Fire - Rescue. Taylor was on the scene after working at a Enterprise Fire, working in a volunteer capacity to save lives.
Ozark Fire Rescue Patrick Dexter was off duty. He stopped at the accident working in a volunteer capacity to save lives.
Flowers Hospital nurse! Eric Walding , was off duty and stopped in a volunteer capacity to save lives.
These three gentleman worked very hard before and after advanced life support units arrived to provide excellant patient care.
THANK YOU....
There were others like long time Wicksburg Fireman Baxter Etheridge also volunteering his time.
ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT - TROOPER DIVISION
The Dothan Trooper Post has a long time Trooper but a new commanding Captain. His name is Tracy Nelson.
He brings a ton of experience. Tracy’s dad was a Trooper Captain and his granddaddy was a Trooper Captain.
Nelson was on the scene with others today. Nelson takes a hands on people approach. And a great asset to this community as commander of this area Troopers.
