Greenwood Florida Arrested on Drug Charges

On Tuesday August 25, 2015 at approximately 9:53 pm, Investigators with the Jackson County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a 4 door, Ford Crown Victoria on Amber road, near the city of Greenwood, Florida. Contact was made with the sole occupant and driver of the vehicle whom was identified as Nicholas M. Williams of Greenwood, Florida. During the traffic stop Investigators conducted a search of the vehicle where a suspicious camouflage bag was located inside the vehicle. Inside the bag Investigators found several measuring cups, plastic baggies, and a digital scale that had a white powdery substance on the outside of the scale. This substance field test positive for the presence of cocaine. Continuing the search, Investigators also located a piece of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana that was inside the vehicle as well. At the conclusion of the investigation Williams was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
