Gunshot - Chase - Flat Tire - Chase - WreckRickey Stokes

HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning around 2:30 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a gunshot in the Wicksburg community. As they responded 911 reported a private auto was transporting he victim to a Dothan hospital.
A Houston County Sheriff Deputy encountered a white Ford Expedition on Highway 84 at a high rate of speed. The deputy activated his blue lights and the person IN FRONT OF THE BLUE LIGHTS made a decision not to stop and the Chase was on.
The Chase lead deputies into Dale County in the area of North Dale County Road 49. While in pursuit the deputy chasing had a flat tire and had to give up.
Then another officer spotted the white Ford Expedition and the Chase was on again. The pursuit passed the deputy with a flat tire again.
The Chase came all the way to Dothan to John D. Odom Road to Murphy Mill Road back to Highway 84. Reports are the suspect rammed law enforcement. Ethic les.
Dothan Police Officers deployed spike strips which allowed the blowing of the suspect tires.
Then on Highway 84 near Bear creek the white Ford E perdition crashed resulting the he apprehension of the person who refused to stop.
This morning around 8 I heard Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigator Sgt. Donovan Arias go out of service after being out all night. At this time we are not clear on the gunshot or why the person that was chased ran.
