Haiti Quake Relief Effort

Ann Cole, manager from Baskin-Robbins, is am starting a drive tomorrow to ship things to Haiti we will have a trailer in the parking lot of Stephenson-Smith IGA starting tomorrow these are the items most needed. AAA Trucking Company will be taking these items we collect to Miami to the Dominican Republic Embassy for distribution

 

The following items are in high demand;

·     Shelter Items (Tents,sleeping bags, flashlights with batteries,,blankets and towels)

·     First Aid kits (band aid, antibiotic ointment, adhesive tape, and antidiarrhetic)

·     Bottled water (packed in cases0 No single bottles

·     Hygiene items limited to toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mild soaps

·     Underclothes (adult and children sizes)

·     Non perishable . can food and pre-cooked food

Update:  Dothan Fire Station 1 on Columbia Highway is accepting the water, Stephenson IGA on Fortner Street and Baskin Robbins on the Circle are accepting all other goods.  Thanks to Dothan City Departments for your help.  Thanks to Triple AAA for transporting four pallet loads of supplies to Miami to be transported.
