On July 19th, 2014 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Alexander Drive after receiving a complaint of an unknown male chasing two juvenile females.
The suspect, Kennon Hester, was identified as the subject who chased the juveniles and was taken into custody in the Alexander Court Apartments. During the investigation of this case, officers were advised that Hester was believed to have unlawfully entered an apartment in the complex, while the tenant was inside. Investigators say Hester was identified as the suspect of a July 3rd, 2014 burglary, in which the victim, an adult female, found Hester in her bathroom while she took a shower. The victim’s screams forced Hester to leave the home, but he was later identified following his arrest for enticing a child for immoral purposes.
- Kennon Obryan Hester, white male, 35 years of age, of Headland, Alabama was arrested and charged with second degree Burglary. Hester will be held with No Bond.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
