Headland Man Charged with Second Degree Receiving Stolen Property

On January 31, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent theft investigation.
Investigators say on January 7th, 2014 Dwight Thomas was in possession of a stolen Dodge mini-van, which he sold as scrap to a local scrap yard. Investigators say information regarding the sale of the property helped in identifying Thomas as the suspect. His arrest now brings this case to a close.
- Dwight Thomas, black male, 39 years of age, of Headland, Alabama was arrested and charged with second degree Receiving Stolen Property. A bond amount has been set at $2,500.00. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
