Healthy Lifestyle Cooking School for Diabetics

The Public is invited to attend a Healthy lifestyle Cooking School for Diabetics or if you just want a healthier lifestyle, sponsored by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Flowers Hospital. The program will include: Nutrition Education lessons taught by Teresa Forehand, Regional Extension Agent. Cooking Demonstrations – Regional Agent Rosalind James and Jamie Sharp, RDLD, Registered Clinical Dietitian-Flowers Hospital, Exercise by Zumba in the Chair by Christina. SIX SESSIONS FROM 10:00 A.M. – 12 NOON: March 14, March 21, March 28, April 4, April 11,and September 5th - Program Follow-up.

The classes will be held at the Alabama Cooperative Extension System office Auditorium located at 1699 Ross Clark Circle, Suite 4, Dothan, Alabama 36301.Registration fee: $10.00 – Awards presented to participants that attends all sessions.
