HENRY COUNTY: The Abbeville/HenryCounty Criminal Investigative Unit executed a search warrant on County Road 209 off of County Road 54 on Friday February 5, 2016... that resulted in the confiscation of drugs, guns, a moonshine still, and illgeal alcohol.
At Approximately 5:30 AM the Henry County Swat Team along with the Abbeville/Henry County Criminal Investigative Unit executed the warrant at the property of Floyd "Dougie" and Douglas Densel after an ongoing investigation determined that Methamphetamine was being sold at the location.
During the seach of the property around 150 firearms were recovered to include rifles, shotguns, pistols, and several thousand rounds of various types of ammunition. Many of these firearms were recovered inside of the "Thunder Rider RC" Clubhouse located on the property.
The seach also located over an ounce of methamphetamine which qualifies as drug trafficking, marijuana, around 18 gallons of moonshine, and a moonshine still.
At this time the investigation into the firearms is still ongoing.
