Hit and Run 3300 Block South Oates Street

DOTHAN:   Dothan 911 dispatched police, fire and ambulance to a motor vehicle accident with injuries, 3300 block of South Oates Street, at 12:05 AM.

Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) responded to the scene.

On arrival Police found two vehicles in the southbound lane, one on each side of the road. A Blue Ford Taurus was involved and a black Chevrolet Cavilier. The subjects, reported to black males with jackets with hoodies, were last seen walking across Highway 231 towards Sonics.

Dothan Fire Engine 2 and a local ambulance took care of the people in the Ford Taurus and one person was transported, non emergency, to SAMC by Dothan Fire and local ambulance.

Dothan Police looked in the area for the two black males but were unable to locate. A wrecker was called for the vehicles.

Dothan Police investigated.
