Hit and Run In Wicksburg

HOUSTON COUNTY:  Emergency Units from Wicksburg Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Department and Alabama State Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 84 West and Highway 123.

A light colored passenger car has left the scene of the accident, westbound on Highway 84. The primary vehicle is at the intersection of 84 West and Highway 123. The injuries are minor and rescue is continuing.

Houston County Sheriff Deputy Asbill was at the scene within seconds of dispatch and attempting to over take the suspect vehicle as traveling on Highway 84.

If anything develops from the accident we will update.

Houston County Sheriff Communications just updated the suspect vehicle to a green Chevrolet Malibu.
