HOLMES COUNTY SHERIFF’S :Made Arrest

This investigation began in September of 2011 when several burglaries were reported in an area near the Holmes – Walton County line.  Scott Adams became a suspect early in the investigation and was questioned but denied having any knowledge of the crimes. The investigation continued and Adams was eventually arrested on an unrelated charge in Holmes County.  While serving his time in the Holmes County Jail, additional information was gathered related to the burglaries.  Adams subsequently confessed to three of the burglaries, two of which occurred in Holmes County.   Adams is being held in the Holmes County Jail.
