HOLMES COUNTY SHERIFF’S Need Your Help

After obtaining a Crime Stoppers tip related to Holmes County fugitive, Donald F. Groover, Holmes County Sheriff’s Deputies and officers from the Graceville Police Department traveled to a residence on Thomas Drive in Graceville. Upon arrival, Officers explained to the occupants of the residence as to the reason for their visit. Shortly thereafter Groover exited the residence through a rear window and after a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody. Groover was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he will be held for Holmes County. Groover was wanted for violating state probation on an original methamphetamine related arrest.
In response to this recent arrest Holmes County Sheriff Tim Brown said “I would like to thank the Graceville Police for their assistance in this recent arrest”. Sheriff Brown added that he also appreciates information from our citizens that provide Law Enforcement with pertinent information concerning fugitives and other criminal activity”.
