Help us help the homeless. The Southeast Alabama Coalition for the Homeless (SEACH) will sponsor a Homeless Stand down on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Alfred Saliba Family Service Center, 301 West Lafayette St., Dothan, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We are reaching out to the Wiregrass Community for HELP with volunteers as well as items needed. We are in NEED of the following items to support this stand down: winter clothes, shoes, socks, combs, hair brushes, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, personal hygiene items, dry food, and can food. Donations can be dropped off at the Wiregrass United Way 2-1-1 office (545 W Main St., Suite 313) through Nov 15th: between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Donations can be dropped off at the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center starting on Nov 16th from 10:00 AM through 2:00 PM as well as on the day of the event. Please help us support this worthwhile cause.
