Honeysuckle Middle School Healthfair 2015

Honeysuckle Middle School held a Community Health fair today. The community got to speak with Dothan High School 4-H representatives, Dothan Police Department, Dothan Fire Department, Houston County Crime Scene Unit, Dothan Houston County Substance Abuse Representatives, Staff from SAMC, Staff from Flowers, Enroll Alabama Insurance Representatives and many other health vendors.

 

The community kids enjoyed playing on inflatables provided by B & B inflatables. They played basketball, jumped rope and played with hula hoops. Many people even received great door prizes. There was even a Karate demonstration.


Food was proved by Publix, Harvest Church, Gold Fingers, Winn Dixie and Wal-Mart.

Also, the school was given a grant to help fund the health fair. The grant was given from Tuskegee University.
