Houston County Commission Amends Right of Encroachment Policy

HOUSTON COUNTY:   The Houston County Commission amended Chairman Culver’s “destroy your brick mailbox and brick columns” policy this morning.


On Thursday Chairman Culver attempted to pass a resolution to establish a policy to destroy brick mailboxes and brick columns with a 30 day notice.


After RSN, the only media outlet to call Culver out, brought the issue to the attention of the public, the commission revised the Culver Destroy resolution.


The new resolution will not affect plated subdivisions or roads unless being repaved with ALDOT and ATRIP money.


THANKS to Commissioner Jackie Battles and Curtis Harvey for bring Culver into reality.


HE IS A SNAKE


Chairman Culver is a snake. You have to watch him continuously.


In this issue a Dothan businessman said “if I found Culver lied to me, it will be the third time.”


WAIT…Did I say the third time? That means the businessman has already caught Culver lying to him twice before!!!


The policy will not affect Culver.  Well, it won’t affect Commissioner McClendon either. Both live in the city limits of Dothan establishing rules for those who live in the county.


THANKS to Battles and Harvey for attempting to keep Culver honest. I know that is an hourly task.
