Houston County Commission Updates Bingo Regs

The Houston County Commission approved a change to the county's bingo regulations. The change incorporates the six points defined by the Alabama Supreme Court in its definition of Bingo.

The change was not discussed or mentioned at this past Thursday's adminitrative meeting when items to be placed on the agenda for the regular commission meeting the following Tuesday are usually discussed and open for public comment. Chairman Culver said that he sent out a press release Friday so that the public would have advance notice of the proposed change.
