HOUSTON COUNTY: Court Watch this week. Begin on Monday with various cases.
In District Court, the Honorable Judge Benjamin Lewis will hold initial appearances of those in the county jail via TV monitor.
Following the initial appearances, Judge Lewis will move into a criminal docket of misdemeanor offenses. The cases before Judge Lewis include NWNI ( Negotiating Worhtless Negotiable Instrument ) and Harassment cases.
Honorable Lori Collier will hold court listening to domestic relations ( blah-blah-blah) and small claims cases.
Honorable Butch Binford will have more blah-blah-blah case in domestic relations.
Honorable Kevin Moulton will have blah-blah-blah cases in domestic relations.
Honorable Larry Anderson will have some civil cases and then he will enter into blah-blah-blah cases in domestic relations.
Visiting from Coffee County will be the Honorable Thomas Head. Judge Head has been appointed to handle the State of Alabama ( Douglass Albert Valeska ) verses Deborah Seagle. Seagle is a former attorney which practiced in Dothan. She is accused of misappropriating $ 2,500.00 in the estate of Patsy Todd.
Seagle is married to Irby Jordan. Since that marriage she fell off the turnip truck. Seagle was a good attorney but, in my belief, the association with Jordan caused her brain to stop functioning correctly.
All Judges of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit have recused themselves from the case.
